Solar Cooling

Solar cooling is a technique that uses the hot water produced by evacuated tube solar collectors to generate chilled water or air conditioning.

This king of systems are designed for commercial building up to megawatts cooloing capacity in cold drastically reducing power consumption. The machine used to trat the air or refrigerate the water is the result of decades of research and technical development: it exploits the natural hygroscopicity of some salts such as lithium bromide or lithium chloride, close relatives of the normal table salt, to generate a refrigeration cycle continuously regenerated by the sun. Once produced the chilled water is distributed in the building or in the production process by means of ducts or water pipes.

The solar cooling systems are reliable, require low maintenance, provide great power savings, reduce CO2 emissions.
